OK, this is all a bit mental. It was reported over the weekend that One Direction's Zayn Malik is having a SECRET LOVE FEST with X Factor dullard wild child Rebecca Ferguson.

YEAH.

Bizarre. We know. Rebecca, mum-of-two and 24 years old, is said to be having some secret pash-offs with just-turned-18-year-old Zayn, according to an 'inside source.'

'His bandmates poke fun at him whenever they can,' says the source.

'One Direction fans will hate the thought of Zayn having a relationship with someone older.

'This relationship could damage Rebecca's career.'
'She's seen as a devoted mum who doesn't have time for relationships, especially with a teenager.'

Yeah, it's that last bit that's getting us.

Obviously we're fully aware of just how ridiculously gorgeous Zayn is, and we're sure Rebecca is too (she's only human after all), but she IS six years older than him, and older ladies don't usually go for boys that young, do they?

But saying that, Sugarscape's Lauren fancies Justin Bieber, and she's WELL older than him, and Mango fancies Emma Watson who he could have given birth to himself (if channel 5 documentaries are to be believed. About men giving birth, not about Mango. Don't think they've made any about him. Yet...).
