One Direction’s Louis Tomlinson tweets support to Frankie Cocozza
7:20 AMVeraFrankie Cocozza may be one of the most hated contestants on The X Factor this year – we think that viewers may actually dislike him more than they do Kitty Brucknell right now – but it seems he still have a few fans left.
Former X Factor contestants One Direction took to Twitter last weekend, to share their support for the young lothario, though those with more suspicious minds may wonder if they were put up to it by their record label SYCO, who will ultimately sign the big stars of the show.
Frankie gave an energetic performance of ‘Should I Stay Or Should I Go’ on Saturday, which saw him running through a crowd of adoring girls (who were of course NOT placed in his path by show bosses) before he took to the stage. The antics were wnough to keep him out of the bottom two last night and as it was revealed that the Brighton singer was through to next week’s show, Harry Styles tweeted:
“Louis was rather happy that Frankie got through…” he uploaded a picture of an elated looking Louis, raising a triumphant fist in the air.
Louis Tomlinson himself tweeted, “Yes Frankie. A lot of people can sing not a lot of people can own a stage like him!”
We are not surprised that Louis has a bit of sympathy for Frankie, who is often said to be the worst singer in this year’s competition, afterall, listen to his own X Factor audition here. He was obviously not chosen for One Direction for his amazing singing voice!
