JLS has revealed that they have plans to collaborate with fellow X Factor stars One Direction.

Both bands are to appear on this year's X Factor charity single, a cover of the Rose Royce classic Wishing On A Star.

However, both groups have said they would like to get together in the studio and try out new ideas.
Discussing recording the charity track with One Direction, JLS's Aston Merrygold told Capital FM: "It won't be the last time.

"We've got a couple of ideas, we've been in the studio for the past couple of weeks because album four is underway."

He added: "We just can't stop writing at the minute, so we're going to have a little conversation with the boys and we've got some ideas to happen."

Ortise Williams added: "Can you imagine the fans? It's going to be crazy. I think every girl in the country will be there."
