Oh Zayn Malik, if there's one thing we don't like about you it's your disgusting habit of chuffing away on those nasty cigarettes. We think we speak for everyone when we say, BLEUGH.

The only thing we want to see you chuffing on is a bubble pipe - and even that would raise a few eyebrows. But all is not lost, as Zayn is vowing to try and kick his smoking habit this year. Huzzah!

Metro report that Zayn admitted; "My new year's resolution is definitely to quit smoking. I need to do it."

Yes Zayn, yes you do. When we've grown old gracefully and your face is all yellow and sallow and your teeth are all brown... to be honest, we're not quite sure you'd be gallery-worthy anymore.

The rest of the boys seem to be resolving to get fit in 2012.

"I ask Niall if he wants to go to the gym and he says "I'll see you there" then never turns up," says Liam. “Unless he's hiding under the weight bench lifting 40kg and I didn't spot him." "I definitely need to use the gym more," Niall agreed.

Ahh... One Direction pumping iron... the mere though of it almost makes us want to become health-freaks.
