Irish-British boy band "One Direction" talked with NBC 5 before going onstage in Frisco.
They came, they saw and they conquered.
Niall Horan, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, and Louis Tomlinson make up the British-Irish boy band, One Direction.
According to their website, the boys made history as their debut album UP ALL NIGHT entered the US Billboard 200 chart at #1 with over 176,000 copies sold.
The first British group ever to debut at #1 in the US with their debut album release. UP ALL NIGHT went straight to No.1 on the digital chart within minutes of its official release last Tuesday.
And North Texas fans also made history, in the Twitter-universe. Fans out-tweeted their counterparts elsewhere making Frisco the stop for the boy band's free concert.
Harry Styles was surprised at the One Direction Mania the group is causing here in the U.S.
"Fans been amazing, we are not from here, first come and been welcomed, treated so nice, been amazing," said Styles.
Close to 10,000 fans stood outside the Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, waiting to get a chance to get inside and see them perform.
The thought of the performance even bringing some fans to tears in anticipation.
But before the big show, we got a chance to get a kiss, and an interview backstage with the Boy Band made famous after singing on XFactor UK.
So what do they think about all the One Direction mania.
"We do get alot of gifts, last time got loads of Nerf guns we been playing with those ever since," said band member Louis.
"It's just incredible don't really know what to think about it," said band member Zayn Malik. "Just really happy about what's happening way people accepted us and stuff really, really good."
Some have compared the British-Irish group to the Beatles, a claim band member Zayn Malik humbly denies.
"I think that statement is obviously ridiculous," Malik said. "Like when we hear it we are like 'what, they are massive, iconic' so to get that compliment that's how take it, compliment."
One Direction plans to do it all over again, as they are set to play at the Gexa Energy Pavilion in Dallas on June 23.
