It seems there is no stopping One Direction, with reports claiming Michelle Obama has invited the lads to visit the White House over Easter weekend.

According to The Sun, The X Factor group met Michelle backstage at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards on Saturday (31st March), which she attended with her daughters Malia, 13, and Sasha, ten.

The lads are said to have ‘charmed’ the First Lady at the bash, with Harry Styles – who is known for his love of the more mature lady – describing Michelle as “a very attractive older woman.”

Styles even made Michelle laugh after asking her how they get pizza delivered to the White House, with Obama telling the 18-year old they have to make their own.

Speaking of their meeting, a source told the newspaper: “She invited them to the White House for their annual Easter egg hunt on Easter Monday. It was such an honour.”

However, the One Thing singers were forced to turn down her offer as they are off to Australia, with the insider adding: “They’d love to go another time.”

Last month, 1D became the first UK band ever to score No.1 on the Billboard 200 chart with their debut album – something not even legends The Beatles could achieve.
