ONE DIRECTION have signed a US record deal with Columbia – home to Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen and David Bowie.

Label bosses, who also have Adele signed up, are now preparing to give the lads a huge push on the other side of the pond.

Louis, Zayn, Niall, Harry and Liam will tour America in February and March as their plan for global pop stardom really takes off.

US fans had already started a Facebook campaign to bring them over, pulling in 50,000 members in just a few days.

In a strange comment yesterday, Louis – quoting Reel 2 Real – told me: "I like to move it move it." He didn't make it clear if he was quoting the 1994 Zig And Zag cover.

Either way, Dylan will be honoured to see them on board.
