One Direction have revealed that they would like to work with N-Dubz star Dappy.

The former X Factor stars are hoping to write new material with the rapper next year.

Liam Payne told the Daily Star Sunday: "We'd love to work with Dappy on our next album.

"As soon as we heard his single No Regrets we all fell in love with it.

"It took over the number one position from us, but we were glad."

Dappy has already worked with boybands having penned some tracks with The Wanted.

Zayn Malik added: "We would loved to have had Dappy on our first album but it was too late."

One Direction star their UK tour in Manchester in December 22. The lads will be in Glasgow on January 13 and 14.

Chatting about the X Factor final, Niall Horan said: "We are rooting for Little Mix. We all love what they do.

"I think Louis loves them too. I wouldn't be surprised if he tried to sign them."
